Immerse yourselves in a Queen Charlotte–inspired tale:
An original masquerade mystery inspired by the world of Bridgerton, not affiliated!
An Experience Hosted by Washington Events,
Presented by the Ottawa Chief Pontiac Heritage Historic Society

Dearest Reader…
It has come to my attention that a most curious scandal is unfolding within society…
and naturally, it must be shared.
Whispers have begun to circulate through the highest circles that the Crown may soon be forced to part with a priceless portrait to preserve the kingdom. Yet, as with all rumors, one must wonder… is there truth behind the tale, or merely imagination at play?
It is said the answer lies within a private estate—Meadow Brook Hall—where society’s most inquisitive minds will gather, by invitation only, to uncover what others dare not question.
The Pontiac Heritage Ball: Scandals, Snoops & Supper invites a select few to step into an evening of intrigue, masquerade, and refined mischief… an experience reserved exclusively for those who choose to support the cause.
Throughout the evening, guests will:
* Immerse yourselves in a Queen Charlotte–inspired tale:
A Bridgerton-style masquerade mystery (not affiliated)
* Explore the estate through a society scavenger hunt of hidden clues
*Witness ballroom dance presentations and a costume showcase
*Experience a special art unveiling and live auction by Pontiac artist
*Indulge in elegant dining within a most distinguished setting
As the night unfolds, guests will decode Lady Whistledown’s society papers and attempt to determine whether the rumors surrounding the Crown are scandal… or simply a most elaborate misunderstanding.
Yet perhaps the greatest mystery of all remains:
Who truly started the rumor?
Attendance is reserved for those whose philanthropic giving supports the development of the Ottawa Chief Pontiac Heritage Historic Society, the preservation of Central School—Pontiac’s oldest remaining school building, and ongoing community initiatives.
So prepare yourself accordingly… polish your masks, gather your curiosity, and await your invitation.
Because in this society, access is not given…
it is earned.
Yours truly!

An Invitation to Give, to Gather, and to Leave a Lasting Mark on Society
While the Pontiac Heritage Ball offers an evening of elegance, intrigue, and immersive storytelling, its true purpose is rooted in community impact. Through philanthropic giving, this initiative supports the development of the Ottawa Chief Pontiac Heritage Historic Society, the preservation and future purchase of Central School, Pontiac’s oldest remaining school building, and the continued growth of local arts and cultural programming.
This effort brings together residents, artists, and community partners to celebrate and protect Pontiac’s legacy while creating opportunities for creativity, education, and engagement. More than an event, the Pontiac Heritage Ball is a commitment to preserving history, uplifting local talent, and investing in the future of the community.
