Mission Statement
The mission of the Ottawa Chief Pontiac Heritage Historic Society is to preserve, protect, and present the authentic history and cultural legacy of Indian Chief Pontiac and the City of Pontiac through education, historical restoration, and community engagement.
The Society is committed to safeguarding historical truth, honoring the people and institutions that shaped Pontiac, and establishing a permanent museum and cultural center that serves as a place of learning, remembrance, and civic pride.
